Grant Allocations

Last year, the Endowment awarded grants to nonprofits working in the fields of art and culture, community and civic affairs, education, the elderly, the environment, health and human services and youth.  Seven grant funds directed giving to a number of specific organizations or areas of interest.  Additional grants were awarded from unrestricted funds based on applications submitted by Island nonprofits and evaluated by the Permanent Endowment Board.

The following charts show the Endowment’s unrestricted grants and grant awards designated by individual funds in 2010.
